About the meeting:
- At the meeting, current political actions, ideas, and topics are discussed and planned
- The meetings take place when the pub is closed
- So far, German has always been spoken at the meetings
- Translations into English are usually possible
- Other languages may also be possible, depending on who is present
- We try to use simple language
- Hand signals are used during the plenary session
- There is a circle of chairs
- There is also facilitation and minutes are taken
- No smoking and no alcohol during the meeting
- Drinks can be bought for a donation
- Tap water is free
- After about one hour there is a break of 10 to 15 minutes
- It is always possible to leave the meeting early or to take a break outside on your own
- Usually between 6 and 19 people attend the meetings
About the location:
- The Silberburg can only be reached via several steps at all entrances
- Unfortunately, there is no good ramp for wheelchairs
- The toilets are very small
- The toilets are for people of all genders (not separated into men/women)
- There is gravel in the courtyard
- The doorbell does not work
- The doors are unlocked during the meeting
Getting there:
- The nearest bus stops coming from the train station are Amtsgericht or Schillerplatz
- From there it is about 700 meters
About the surroundings:
- The Silberburg is located in a residential area
- A railway line is a few meters away
- Trains arrive unexpectedly and are loud, which can be startling
